Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE] — Effective for all orders placed on aetherforgeco.com
This is a general-purpose template, not legal advice. It's written to cover the common risk points for a small hardware/3D-printing business (order estimates, product variance, IP over customer-submitted designs, liability limits) but it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer licensed in your state. Have it reviewed before you rely on it, especially the governing-law and liability sections marked below.

1. Who We Are

Aetherforge LLC ("Aetherforge," "we," "us") operates aetherforgeco.com (the "Site"), through which we sell 3D-printed hardware and accept custom fabrication requests. By placing an order, submitting a design, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products, Pricing & Estimates

3. Custom Work & Quote Requests

4. Designs You Submit To Us

If you create an account or otherwise submit a design, model file, sketch, or specification for us to produce ("Your Design"):

5. Orders, Payment & Shipping

6. Returns & Refunds

[Replace with your actual policy — placeholder below is a common small-business default:]

7. Tools & Hardware Items

Some products we sell (e.g. folding knives, bit drivers, other tools) have blades or functional hardware. By purchasing, you confirm you are legally permitted to own and use the item in your jurisdiction, and you assume responsibility for using it safely and legally. We are not responsible for misuse.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as expressly stated in Section 6, items are sold "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

[Have a lawyer confirm this is enforceable in your state — some states limit how far you can disclaim liability.]

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aetherforge's total liability for any claim arising from your order or use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid for the item(s) giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
